Artusystem is a patent protected retrofit dual – fuel technology, that mixes diesel with alternative fuels in diesel common rail engines.The Artusystem technlogy builds on the efficiency and benefits of the diesel common-rail engine technology and allows to operate the engine using alternative, low emission fuels. Diesel is the name of the engine, named after its inventor, and not the fuel. Therefore, our strategy is to adapt diesel engines to low emission sustainable mobility requirements. Choice and availability of alternative fuels, development and availability of relevant infrastructure of refueling stations across Europe and world-wide are factors that have determined our strategy to develop and implement the Artusystem technology. Our mission is to support efforts towards moving to low and zero emission vehicles.
The Artusystem Dual-Fuel is built on the Artusystem technology and allows operating the Diesel engine with a mix of LPG as a primary fuel and use 20% Diesel fuel as a secondary fuel. ArtuPower is based on the intellectual property of SIA “ABLabs” (patent application no. Mechanics and Inventors for generations.Our story starts long ago, when internal combustion engines were complicated objects and those who had ideas and manual skills were able to create new and innovative products. In 1932 Pietro Bonomi, grandfather of Ing. Alberto Bonomi, founded the first mechanical workshop in Crema (Italy) where, in addition to the repair of all types of trucks and the first cars, he began to experiment with transforming cars into tractors for agricultural purpose. The first tractor called Bonomi & Cassani – which later became SAME – was built in 1940. His son Francesco Bonomi, father of Ing. Alberto Bonomi, at the age of 13 takes over the reins of the company due to the premature death of his father Pietro. Francesco Bonomi remained in the automotive industry for over 50 years, ending his career as head of the heavy-duty workshop manager of Mercedes-Benz. Ing. Alberto Bonomi continues the work started almost 100 years ago by creating new automotive technologies and solutions that change the way we use alternative fuels in mobility.
